Just wanted to apologize and give an explanation about the lack of art. I've been really busy with Hymn to the Earless God, and for this whole year I've been in a really bad art rut. Haven't had the motivation or creativity to create art outside of the pixel work I do for Earless God.

this whole year I've been pretty stressed about not drawing enough, or worrying that I've somehow lost my ability to draw and design things. But finally, I think I've decided that it's not worth it to stress about it this much and I may need to just accept this will be a down period for me and I don't have the physical or mental stamina to make art outside of my job. I had the time and energy to do such before, but I don't have that now and I haven't had it for a while. I'm still doing pixel art consistently for the game, so that's something. You guys, unfortunately, won't be able to see it for a while.

thanks for understanding, I wanted to say this on NewGrounds most of all since this site has done a lot for me, and it's the place I kinda' consider a "home" for my art more than anything. I'm sure I'll get out of this funk soon, and when I do you guys'll be the first to see what I make.

What are some of your favorite action cartoons from the 2000s and earlier? As early as, like, the late 70s, even. Would definitely like to see examples both popular and obscure! especially shows that never made it to the US, or at least never got big here.

I want some material to study for a potential direction I'd like to take my art style and it would be convenient to have a single place to reference sources suggested by my audience.

Me and 3 other guys (including Kasey Ozymy, creator of Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass... this is really his game more than mine, haha) have been pouring our souls out for this game, so it'd really mean a lot if you guys could consider offering any kind of support. That includes just telling your coworkers about this weird indie RPG you found on NewGrounds.

Me and Oolong are gonna be doing a presentation for the NG summer fest this year! it's another character design war! this time's theme is... Heaven vs Hell. We'll be presenting this saturday at 8:45 PM EST. if you had fun last time, I hope to see you guys again!

For anyone unsure of how this works: me and Oolong worked on designing two leaders of a fictional faction. Then, for the rest of the stream, he and I design members of the opposite person's faction. Then the viewers get to choose which of our factions they want to design a single member for and draw along with us! Whoever's faction has the most members by the end of the stream wins the war! first time it was Reptiles vs Mammals, then Sea vs Sky. now, we're HEAVEN VS HELL!

Really excited to be doing one of these again, it's usually a pretty big hit with the audience, so I hope everyone enjoys this one too. thank you to Kekiiro for hosting the event and allowing me and oolong on!

thank god for NewGrounds, with other websites shitting the bed more and more every day, it makes me appreciate how much NewGrounds has its shit together and actually cares about us.

It seems like NewGrounds and Tumblr are the only safe places to post art to nowadays. And I'm hesitant on saying that about tumblr, even.

I spent the last 2 days drawing 12 christmas gifts, so I'll be posting them over the course of the next few weeks.

I grinded by really fast on them, so I'm unsure if they'll all look good. I'll try to tweak them up before posting.

I feel like I should probably say something about why I haven't been posting art.

it's because I have a full time job, working on a project for someone! Pretty much everything I've been drawing is NDA, so I just haven't been able to share anything. The good news is that I will be able to post concept art once we have more to actually show.

Thank you for the patience, and I'm sorry for the slowness! I'll try to scrape my art folder and see if there's anything I can show you guys that I haven't already posted.

it's today!

So there's gonna be a game jam starting on the 16th, and I kinda' wanna give it a go. But, I think it'd be best to find someone to collaborate with. I know RPG Maker (which I believe can be hosted on Newgrounds and played in Web Browsers), I can do tilesets and character sprites, some simple animation, and know RPG game design.

If anyone thinks our skills can work together to make something cool, send me a private message. I wanna give it a shot! I think finding a musician is highest priority since I have no idea how to go about that, haha. But, after I find a music-maker, it would of course
